The Benson NMRA Winter Meet has been postponed till further notice, due to the weather. On Thursday evening Benson was the coldest place in the UK, recording a temperature of -17.7C (0.14F)…so plenty of snow and ice…not really the best conditions for driving vans!
I’ll let you know when the Benson meet has been rescheduled. In the meantime it will allow me to get the local control panels wired in time for the next show on 23rd/24th Jan at Dartford.

Rochelle Intermodal will be at the 2009 Tolworth show this coming weekend, 14 & 15th November. And great news…it will be the new extended version! With the generous help of Pete Blake, from the Seaboard Southern club, I am almost finished with the two new industrial switching boards…just doing the last bit of scenic work, then will test them with the adjoining boards. Hopefully all works as expected, but am expecting the usual gremlins!
So, come visit me at Tolworth this weekend, otherwise keep an eye on this site for photos of the new modules.

Unfortunately it won’t be the new extended version as hoped, as my day job has got in the way of progress – I haven’t worked on the layout for over a month, so couldn’t get the new extension ready in time. However, it will be done in time for Tolworth in November.
