This layout was loosely based on Rochelle, Illinois, and had an intermodal facility (based on Global III) and industrial switching areas (based on Caron Road, Rochelle, IL.). I’ve just uploaded the latest layout update for Rochelle Intermodal

I have fitted a Digitrax DZ143 decoder to control my Peco turntable. Using a decoder allows fine control, allowing easy track alignment using slow speeds. Testing after installation in the baseboard.
I’ve also installed the main power and accessory buses & LocoNet cable under the loco facility boards. I think I have decided on a track plan for this area, but will have a look again over the next few days before finalising it.
